Put your venue map in an email or newsletter

Email cannot show an interactive map: no email client runs the iframe. What works is a link, and the three ways of dressing one up below. Each opens the live map, so nothing you send goes stale.

Copy the Map link from Maps → your map → Links and make it the button in your email tool (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Brevo, Klaviyo, Outlook: every tool has a button block).

For a link that opens on something specific, use Build a link in the dashboard: “See where registration is”, “Find the keynote hall”, “Directions from the main entrance to Hall B”. See Building a link.

2. A picture of the map that opens it

Take a screenshot of the map (or export one from your design tool), add it to the email as an image, and make the image link to the map. Readers expect a map picture to be clickable; it becomes the most-tapped element in the email.

3. A QR code

For printed programmes, badges and signage, and for readers who forward the email to their phone: make a QR code of the map link with any QR generator and add it as an image. See QR codes for booths and rooms.

Exhibitor mailings (“Your stand is 201”) should link to that exhibitor's own booth. Bulk links gives you a CSV with one link per catalog row and the columns you choose (name, email, booth). Import it into your email tool and merge the link column into the button.

Frequently asked questions

Can I embed the interactive map in an email?
No email client runs an embedded map. Link to it instead: a button, a clickable picture of the map, or a QR code. Each opens the live map.
Will the link in an old email still work?
Yes. Links contain the map's address and the place, never a snapshot, so they always open the current map. If you take the map offline they show a “not available” page until it is live again.
Can each exhibitor get a link to their own booth?
Yes. Use Bulk links in the dashboard to export one link per exhibitor as a CSV, then merge the link column in your email tool.
